Project Description
For many years, anime fans have used WcDonalds in shows and manga to show their love for the brand. This year McDonalds brought it to life by delivering a four part anime short, releasing an exclusive savory chili sauce and building out a real life WcDonalds! 🍔
Following Wieden + Kennedy’s campaign, which brought the animé WcDonald's universe to life, we partnered with Latino artist and animé fan Young Miko to create a music video within the WcDonald's world, designed by artist Acky Bright.
To immerse our Latino anime fans into this fantasy world, we hosted an irl event where we celebrated her love for anime, food and music! 💖
WcDonald's drove 2.68% behavioral lift (Benchmark: 2.37%)
